Stef Grobbelaar

Stef Grobbelaar is a director and head of the Commercial and Litigation Department at the firm. Admitted as an attorney in 1993, Stef has been in the private practice since and brings with over 20 years of experience in commercial, civil litigation and intellectual property law.

He started at the firm as a consultant, after being involved in the Microsoft BizSpark program, a program which provided assistance for tech start-ups to receive market traction and become financially viable. During the program, he assisted businesses to become legally compliant and also hosted workshops on the POPI Act as well as on the protection of intellectual property.

Since joining the firm, Stef has worked hard to consolidate and build on the firm’s strong track record with clients. He is also extremely versatile and has the right to appear in the High Court having done so on many occasions on behalf of clients.

His practice experience also includes motor vehicle and personal injury litigation with an extensive experience in High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation.

Stef has also served as a Commissioner of the Small Claims Court for several years.
